If you need to restore the system due to a
system crash or if you move the system
from one server to another, then there are
two things you need to restore:
1. The 3f Software
Planner database
2. All the files
uploaded to the 3f Software Planner
Assuming that you
have done regular updates to the system, and that you have remembered to
backup both the database and the files uploaded to the system, then this
should not be a problem. In this example, we used the built-in file backup
tool that comes with Windows 2003 Server to restore the files.
1. Start the 3f
Software Planner database utility

2. Enter
password
Enter your system
administrator password (SA), then press "Next". By default, the system
administrator password is 123 unless you have changed it.

3. Choose
Procedure
Choose "Restore
Database" from the combo box, then enter the restore key and location
where the backup file is located. When you are
ready, click the button "Restore Database" to begin the process of
restoring the backup.

4. Database
restored
When the database
has been successfully restored, you will be shown with this message box.

5. Restore
files (Using Microsoft Backup)
After you have
restored your database, you should restore your files. Open Microsoft
Backup and choose the media to restore. When ready click the Start Restore
button.

6. Restore
Complete
When the files
have been restored, this window will appear. Click "Close".
