   Installation

   Place the downloaded file: ProjectCosting.exe in the "pages" folder inside the

   3f  Software Planner Server installation folder then double click the file. Follow screen

   instructions for updating the database. (This add-on need a few extra tables)

   Don't forget

   To run the Project Costing Add-On you must download and install

   3f Development Framework on your server.

  Update to 3f Software Planner Server

From time to time we bring out updates to the 3f Software Planner server. As a registered customer you will receive an email with information about the update as well as a download link. There are two types of updated, full update and service packs. The difference lies in how extensive the update is. Generally, it takes 5 min. to install a service pack, where as a full update can take up to 20 min. to install. 

Full Update to 3f Software Planner Server

Before making a full update, please review the full update procedure.

Note: As a registered user you will receive the server download link in an email.

Service Pack for 3f Software Planner Server

3f Software Planner 2006 Version 4.0000.0001

Current Versions Service Pack:	SP4
Current Database Service Pack:	SP2
Requirements:	3f Software Planner 2006 Server version 4.0000.0001 Version Service Pack 0 - 3 Database Service Pack 0 - 1 (To check, go to Help > About)
Special Instructions:	This service pack is made up of two parts, an update to the IIS server and and update to the database. If you install one then you must install the other. The service pack is cumulative from version 4.0000.0001. You must be logged in as an Administrator on the server to install the service pack.
IIS Service Pack	3f-Server-Patch-401-sp4 (Click to download).   When the service pack has been downloaded place it in the DLL folder i.e. C:\3f Software Planner 2006\IPlan\pages\DLL   It MUST be placed in the DLL folder!!!!   Next, double click the exe to update the service pack. Please note that the IIS will be stopped while the update is being installed.
DB Service Pack	3f-Server-DB-Patch-401-sp2 (Click to download) When the database service pack has been downloaded place it in an empty folder of your choice. NOTE: If you have the database on a separate server than the IIS then copy this service pack to the database server and install it from there!   Next, double-click it to extract the files contained in the zip file. Open the ReadME.txt for instructions on how the database script is installed.
